Every Party, Wedding and Event booking includes, as standard:
- 2 x 1 hour sets
- Professional PA and lighting rig
- Public liability insurance
- iPod party playlist while the band aren’t performing
- Music until midnight.
If your event requires extra music, musicians or for us to perform later into the night, we can accommodate this, but there may be extra charges.
As every event is different, we tailor our service to you from the set up time and performance times, right through to what songs we play.

How many musicians should we book?
That depends on your venue, guest numbers, budget and the type of party you’re planning.
Our 6-piece is our most popular option, but we’re happy to advise.
How much do you charge?
Our prices are very competitive and we always quote on an individual basis. This ensures that you get the best value for money and that our service is 100% tailored to your needs.
Why should we book direct?
By booking direct with First Edition, you will be speaking to the band members who will be at your event. Every bit of information and every request will be discussed directly with us, leaving nothing left to chance. Our musicians know each other inside out and play with each other on a weekly basis so you can be sure that it’ll be a great performance!
How long does it take to set up?
We usually ask for 1.5 hours for us to load in, set up and sound check. It is possible for us to set up quicker than this but it all depends on the venue.
Can I see you play before I book?
Yes! We try to keep our audio and video samples up to date, but we would always recommend coming to see us play live. Most of our bookings are private functions, however we try to play to the public as often as we can.
What do you need on the day?
Generally, we’re pretty self-sufficient, however there are a few things we ask for:
- A band area of approx. 5m x 4m.
- 4 x standard UK 3 pin power sockets (these need to be on an independent circuit – not shared with bars, discos or catering)
- A secure room to change and store belongings in.
- A meal and soft drinks
How long do you play for?
Usually, we play 2 x 1 hour sets, however we can play three shorter sets if this fits in with your event better. Please contact us to discuss the options.
Do you play requests?
We will learn your first dance if you would like us to. Other requests will be accepted, however we cannot guarantee that we will play all of them.
Can you supply extra musicians?
Yes! Our basic line up is a 4 piece band (One female Vocalist, Keys, Bass and Drums), however if you would like a larger band, we can add extra vocals, percussion and a horn section to meet your requirements. We can also provide acoustic music for earlier on in the day and a DJ to play between our sets.
